Brittany and Nick are one of those couples that you meet and feel like you've been best friends for years! I mean I've gotten really great at third wheeling as I'm with couples all the time, but I could definitely third wheel with them ANY DAY! They are so freaking hilarious and fun and full of joy! And their little guy, I mean just look at him (HEART EYES). I am seriously obsessed with this sweet family. You need to go follow @TheMrsBall on insta ASAP. Not only will you get lots of laughs and pretty views on the daily (cause DUH, Hawaii), but Brittany is one of the REALEST people I follow on insta, which makes so many drawn to her and her family! She shares so much truth and is such an encouraging online presence. Like, she makes me feel like I'm one of her besties. If I keep going, I'll start sounding creepy so I'll just let you look at these sweet photos and crush on them yourself :)
Meredith + Swayze are HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS. They got married in their hometown, and had the ceremony at their church. Just wait till you see how they incorporated their adorable dog and cat into their photos! Meredith couldn’t find a venue that fit with her vision, so she ended up renting out the top floor of a local office building with beautiful exposed brick and pipes.
It’s a tradition in their church to ring the church bells when walking back down the aisle!
I am so proud to say that this was my first featured wedding, posted on Junebug Weddings. I was very tempted to just quote them on here because they described the day SO WELL, but I won't haha. Instead, I'll tell you about what an amazing couple the Boncore's are, and you can read all about the details on Junebug.
I cannot say enough good things about E+B and their wedding day. JP and I had lunch with them a month or so before their wedding and they were definitely one of those couples that I met with and thought, we could be best friends!
I think I can say that they have been my most smiley couple yet! They were glowing with thee most contagious smiles, and it really set the tone for the entire day. I mean seriously, they were BEAMING, and the joy they were radiating absolutely comes from the love of Christ they share and the unity that this day meant to them! It was a beautiful, happy celebration and I am so thankful I was able to not only witness their day, but document their giddy smiles and creative taste!
As if these two weren't cute enough, they met in middle school and then were best friends for years--bring on the tears. Sloan+Colter were so giddy and excited the entire day and once they said their vows, they could not keep apart! They are such a sweet and genuine couple, and they are so incredibly loved by the people around them. The ceremony was at the beautiful Patten Chapel at the UTC campus and the reception followed at The Mill in Southside Chattanooga. There was lots of dancing and the evening ended with a sparkler exit and lots of happy tears.
I first met J+A when we had their engagement session at the fair last fall, and I knew right away that they were going to be one of those couples that I'd be friends with. They are such a kind-hearted, loving and playful couple and I enjoyed every second of their engagement session! Their wedding was the perfect one to start my first year as a full time photographer, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and witness the day they said "I do."
The Lanzo's got married at the beautiful Vineyard at Gibbs Farm. There was so much love put into this wedding, as everything for the day was done by friends and family of the couple. But it was not your average DIY wedding, it was very tasteful and creative with a S'mores bar, Cigar bar, vintage couches in the lounge areas, and games and activities for the guests. All the signs and decor were created by friends, and the brides mother made the bouquet and boutonnières. I had no idea all this was done by friends and family until the bride told me, it looked amazing! Their wedding day was filled with so many smiles and happy tears and lots of thanks to the Lord, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it!
When Mary and I first started planning their Engagement Session and she mentioned the two of them having a little getaway at Treetop Hideaways in Chattanooga, I almost lost it. Literally, childhood dreams, a shoot in a TREEHOUSE. It was the perfect location to end their session after roaming around downtown Chattanooga that afternoon (previous post). We played some Ed Sheeran through an old school horn speaker to set the mood (because who doesn't want Ed Sheeran serenading them in a Treehouse) and I snapped away. It was pretty perfect, soooo yeah..enjoy :)
I love meeting a couple and feeling like we're instantly best friends. These two are so great and I had the best time venturing around Chattanooga with them! This city is an old, rustic, artsy kind of beautiful, so we drove around looking for buildings and spots just photogenic enough to pair with M+N, without taking away from how dang adorable and in love they are. After that, we went to Treetop Hideaways, but I'm making a separate post for those because there are SO MANY CUTE PICS that I can't do it all in one!
P.S. I may or may not have blasted the Lumineers from my car throughout the session, so if you want some music to listen to, go play their newest album cause it goes perfectly with these photos.
THIS WEDDING. These flowers. Her dress. This venue. But for real, this couple though. They're just as sweet as they look and I am beyond grateful I got to photograph the day that they became the Marlow's.

Claire is one of my best friends, so when she finally agreed to have a mini maternity session-2 days before I went home for Christmas-I was so excited! Claire+Luke are having their little girl any day now, and I cannot wait to meet her :)
I had the opportunity to do a family session in the sweet little town of Tunnel Hill at the Historic Railroad Tunnel with the beautiful Pitts family. They were so fun and they brought their dog, so obviously that was a perk! Are they a model family or what?
When your client reaches out saying that she has kind of a "wacky idea" for her engagement session, you know it's either go to be a dreeeeeam, or it's going to be well..weird. IT WAS A DREAM. We started out on the main street of a small down and then went to the FAIR and it was amazing. It was the perfect location for these two, they are so fun and flirty and just adorable. They were so natural and photogenic, I was hardly even directing them, I literally felt like I was just hanging out with two close friends for the evening. It's always great when you connect so quickly with a couple, I had so much fun and am so glad to have new friends :) I am SO EXCITED for their wedding in April!
