Lake Tahoe

Holy moly, have you ever been to Lake Tahoe? It is incredible! I liked to think of myself as a mountain girl for a brief period of time while attending Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, right outside Chattanooga, TN. But that is NOTHING compared to Tahoe. I had never seen snowy covered mountain tops in such an abundance around me, reflecting off an icy blue lake, or in the distance. I mean for real, I still look at the pictures and think it's a backdrop hahah. 

One of my families close friends was getting married out there, and I had the privilege of not only attending, but shooting their beautiful Tahoe wedding! JP, my parents and I all got to head up a couple days after Christmas and it was really my first time experiencing a destination wedding. The four of us got to explore a little on our own and we really fell in love with the little town in South Lake Tahoe. After the wedding, JP and I got to stay through NYE and experience our first New Years Eve at an exclusive casino party. If you know us at all, that's not really our scene, but it was pretty fun :)

Once I post that wedding, I'll link it here! I also got to do an engagement session while there with a really fun couple who found me through Instagram and reached out to do a shoot while there, so I'll link that as well.

We went to see the wedding venue the day before, so that's where I took these pictures! It's called Edgewood Tahoe, it's an incredible resort right on the lake. Alsooo fun fact, one of the episodes of the Bachelor was filmed there this past season! I was obviously excited about that :)
